Lo-ve This movie

Well the first thing that should be said is I Lo-ve this movie!...get it? Lo-ve, like Lo, the movie’s title :D… I never claimed to be good at puns but I digress. I first found this movie while waiting to go to a Japanese exam, I ended up being half an hour late because I just got so sucked into the movie and didn’t want to stop watching.
The basic story is that a guy opens a gate to hell and summons a demon to find his lost girlfriend who was taken to hell.  The movie stars Sarah Lassez (who is an amazing actress)Photobucket Ward RobertsPhotobucket, and Jeremiah Birkett Photobucket. This movie is interesting as it mostly takes place in one room, it seems like it could be a play with its setting. I am not one for romance movies but for some reason movies like this and Wristcutters: A Love story, I really love; come to think of it, the dark undertone and death probably are what I love about them. This movie is also a comedy, somewhat in the style of the Evil Dead movies, its dark, kind of morbid and just plain funny.
Throughout the movie we get to see the beginning of the love story, though it is starting at the end. As the protagonist Justin summons the demon Lo to help him find this lost girlfriend April. Though Lo promises to eat Justin, by giving him the new name of Dinner, he says he needs Justin to remember all he can about her and tell their story so that he may better find her. As they look more into the past Justin starts to see how odd their relationship was, yet he tries to deny it all. This movie also has a few musical numbers, the first given by the demon that took April from Justin even!
I can’t give everything away, mostly because this movie is better to be watched then to be told to you, and has a truly great story as no matter what keeps happening Justin keeps on asking for his love April and never gives up. And hey if you have a girl that happens to like weird romantic like movies it might be worth watching with them on a date.
Remember guys if you have any suggestions for movies or anything just leave it in the comments and I’ll see what I can do. And don't expect many of my post to have pictures and videos.

  4. @ chanonymous Yes it looks horrible, that's what i thought the first time I looked at it as well, but as I watched it i started to love it, admittedly it is a bit cheesy but a good movie all the same, then again that's just my opinion.
